Thomas Byrne Fitzgerald, Jr., age 67, passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Meriden, CT on March 19, 1946 to the late Thomas Byrne Fitzgerald, Sr. and the late Elizabeth Clarie Moerchelle Fitzgerald. He served in the United States Army Special Forces for fourteen years. He worked as a truck driver instructor. Mr. Fitzgerald is survived by his wife, Barbara Sessoms Fitzgerald of the home; a brother, Robert Mark Fitzgerald of Troy, NY; sisters, Elizabeth Fitzgerald of Las Vegas, NV, Dianne DeCurtis of Troy, NY and Magueritte Jordan of Troy, NY; sister-in-law, Gail and husband Mitchell Lassiter of Lumberton; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, James Dietrich of Lumberton.
