Thomas Harold Byrd, II, age 54, of Lumberton, NC died on Monday, April 11, 2016.  He was born in Robeson County, NC on June 10, 1961 to the late Thomas Harold Byrd, Sr., and Kellen Thorndyke Byrd.  He was a Critical Care Medic for Southeastern Health.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Harold Byrd, Sr., "T Byrd".

Mr. Byrd is survived by his wife, Tonya Michelle Byrd of the home; his mother, Kellen Thorndyke Byrd, "Meme", of Lumberton; a son, Brad Byrd of Lumberton; a daughter, Elizabeth Kellen Byrd of Lumberton; a step-son, Jacob Webb of Lumberton; a step-daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Wester of Lumberton; a sister, Rose Marie Byrd of Raleigh; three grandchildren, Kearston Rozier of the home; Thomas Sims, III, and Lucas Webb both of Lumberton; and one niece, Mikayla Byrd of Raleigh.

A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 from 6:00-9:00 PM at the Lumberton Rescue & EMS, 2391 N. Roberts Avenue, in Lumberton.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Lumberton Rescue & EMS with Rev. David Hawes officiating.  Burial will follow in New Hollywood Cemetery.
