Thomas ??Tom? Brisson, Jr., 79, died on Sunday, January 22, 2012 in Lumberton, NC. He was born in Bladen County, NC on May 19, 1932 to Thomas Brisson, Sr.and Annie Hickman Brisson. Mr. Brisson proudly served his country as a Sgt. First Class in the United States Army during the Korean War. Later he made many friends as owner of Brisson Swimming Pool Company in Lumberton. He was a faithful member of East Lumberton Baptist Church.

Mr. Brisson is survived by his wife, Julie Brisson of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Donnie and Donna Brisson of Watha; a daughter, Toni Brisson of Southport; three stepsons, Frankie and wife Marilyn Lindsay, Kenny Lindsay of Lumberton and Shane and wife Tip Lindsay of Palmdale, CA; one grandson and a step-granddaughter; sisters, Pearl Johnson, Earleen Chance and Barbara Lennon and her husband Ross, all of Bladenboro; and two brothers, J.F. Brisson and his wife Thomasine and Bennie Brisson all of Bladenboro; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at 3:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton with Rev. Richard Hicks and Rev. Roger Worley officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2:00-3:00 PM prior to the service in the chapel.
