Thomas Duane Adams, 65, of Lumberton, NC, died on Saturday, July 22, 2023, in his home, surrounded by his family.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Thomas & Laura Adams.

He is survived by his wife Willi Adams of the home; two sisters, Deborah Karr and Sonya Adams Rozier and her husband Wade, both of Lumberton, NC; one brother, Tony Byron Adams of Lumberton, NC; two daughters, April Nicole Adams and Melissa Gayle Adams, both of Lumberton, NC; a nephew, Christopher B. Adams and wife Amber of Lumberton; his aunt and uncle, Dolli & Jimmie Adams; and three grandchildren: Khloe McKenzie Beatty, Brody Cole Beatty, and Karah Paige Altizer.

Duane worked for 28 years with the Universal Packing Company, finishing his career as a production manager with the Kayser-Roth company. In his free time, he enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, playing golf and going to the beach. But, most of all, Duane loved to spend time with his family that he loved so dearly.

There will be a visitation held on Friday, July 28, 2023, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary and Crematory, 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Floyd Memorial Chapel, 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC. Entombment will immediately follow at Gardens of Faith Cemetery, 5190 N. Fayetteville Road in Lumberton, NC.
