Terry Wayne Turner, age 55, of Lumberton, gained his heavenly wings on Monday, August 5, 2024, at Cape Fear Rehabilitation Center after having open heart surgery. He was born on June 10, 1969 to the late Jerry Wayne Turner and Delores Turner, whom he is now celebrating his new life with.

Terry was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He leaves behind his legacy of being his family's Superman.

Terry was very fond of the outdoors. Outside was his favorite place to be, whether it was playing with grandchildren, chopping wood, burning leaves, cutting grass, or drinking coffee.

Terry grew very wise and had the faith of a mustard seed. He found humor and positivity to uplift people around him. His smile was contagious and will always be remembered.

Terry leaves his smile and precious memories to his wife, Karen Turner; his children, Courtney and Cody; and his grandchildren, Zane and Gunnar, who he absolutely adored.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary and Crematory, 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel, 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC. Burial will follow at Floyd Memory Gardens, 3720 Old Whiteville Road in Lumberton, NC.
