Mr. Terry Sanders, age 60, of Fairmont, passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2026 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC.

Mr. Sanders was born August 11, 1965 in Robeson County to the late Homer A. Sanders and the late Johnnie Bell Chavis Sanders.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy "Man" Sanders and Timmy Sanders; and one sister, Jennifer Sanders.

He is survived by his companion of many years, Doris Oxendine of the home; four brothers, Matthew Sanders (Kathy) of Lumberton, Homer Sanders, Jr. and Alexander Sanders both of Fairmont, and Lyndall Sanders of Pembroke; three sisters, Mary Jacobs (Billy) of Red Springs, Gail Garcia (Pablo) and Schawanna Sanders (Kelvin McDuffie), both of Fairmont; a granddaughter, Joslyn Bisbee of Fairmont; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friend.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at 2:30PM at Northside Church of God, 1331 Marion Stage Road, Fairmont. Graveside Committal will follow in Chavis Family Cemetery,
