Terry "Wax" Oxendine, age 67, of Pembroke and formerly of Fairmont passed away Sunday, May 4, 2025 at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton.

Terry was born June 24, 1957 in Robeson County to the late Elery Oxendine and the late Etta Mae Hunt Oxendine.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Dale Oxendine and a sister, Vivian Carol Oxendine Hunt.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Sandra Oxendine of the home; two sons, Terry Justin Oxendine (fiancé Jessica Patterson) and Silas Corey Oxendine, (fiancé Maggie Mae Oxendine) all of Fairmont; four sisters, Lori O. Freeman (Ronald) of Lexington, NC, Vicky Lynn Locklear (LM) of Lumberton, Daisy Oxendine (Charles) and Cherylene Hunt, both of Fairmont; three grandchildren, Cadence Oxendine, Lucas McMillian, and Melody Ann Rose Oxendine; his caregivers, Jessica Patterson, Meggan Cummings, Breanna Scott, and Nikia Oxendine; several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

A visitation will be held Thursday, May 8, 2025 from 6:00-8:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services, Inc., 1549 Marion Stage Road, Fairmont.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 9, 2025 at 2:00PM at Elrod Baptist Church, 538 McRae Road, Rowland.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
