Terry Rod Britt, age 57, of Fairmont, NC died on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton.  He was born in Robeson County, NC on November 15, 1959 to the late Hampton Lee Britt and the late Dorothy Locklear Britt.  He worked as a mechanic for Southern Truck & Automotive Company.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, H.L. Britt.

Mr. Britt is survived by his brothers, James O. Britt (Carol) of Lumberton, Gordon Britt (Pam) of Proctorville, Ernest Locklear (Linda) of Lumberton, and Johnny Bass (Betty) of Lumberton; his sisters, Arbiedella Britt (Earl) and Mary Ann Parker (Willis) all of Lumberton; a special friend, Jackie Jones; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A time of visitation will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2016 from 1:00-2:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street in Lumberton.  The graveside service will follow the visitation on Saturday at 2:30 PM at New Hollywood Cemetery with Rev. Raymond Ellis officiating.
