Teressa Deal, age 68, of Lumberton, NC, passed away on Monday, May 12, 2025.

She was born in Robeson County, NC on September 29, 1956 to the late Lloyd Lee Deal and the late Martha Helen McNeil Deal.  She will always be remembered as a sweet, friendly person.

Teressa is survived by her son, Mitchell Jacobs, Jr. (Lilly) of Lumberton and Cornia L. Jacobs (Bryan Bartley) of Lumberton; three brothers, James Lee Deal (Margie), Dewayne Deal and Johnifare Deal, all of Lumberton; one sister, Leteina Hunt of Lumberton; seven grandchildren, Tressa Bartley, Daylon Jacobs, Destiny Jacobs, Dynasty Jacobs, Solomonreg Locklear, Chaz Sinclair, and Nekyiah Locklear; and one great-grandchild, Zachariah Hardin.

A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025 from 6:00-8:00PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street, Lumberton.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025 at 1:00PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Pastor Billy Burns and Jerel Brewer officiating.  Burial will follow at McNeil Family Cemetery in Lumberton.

The family will receive friends at 841 Pleasant Hope Road, Lumberton.
