Mrs. Teresa Cox Walters, age 55, of Lumberton, passed away February 18, 2021, at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC.

She was preceded in death by her father, B.L. Cox; mother, Betty Rose Cox Wilkerson; and a brother, Forrest Talmadge Cox.

She is survived by her husband, Lynwood Walters of Lumberton; a son, Mitchell Walters of Lumberton; a daughter, Leanna Rose Walters of Lumberton; and a brother, Gary Lee Cox of Lumberton.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Tuesday February 23, 2021, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Long Branch Baptist Church in Lumberton. Following visitation, a funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. with Rev. Keith Hicks and Pastor Brett Young officiating. Burial will follow at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton.
