Teresa Grace Leggett Ivey, age 45, of Fairmont, NC died on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton, NC. She was born on January 28, 1964 in Robeson County, NC to the late Robert F. Leggett, Sr. and Grace Floyd Leggett. She worked as a Certified Ophthalmologist Assistant for Carolina Eye Care Professionals.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Steve Ivey of the home; two sons, Derrick Bailey and Nicholas Ivey of the home; one brother, Robert F. Leggett, Jr. of Fairmont, NC; one sister, Patricia Dew Faith Leggett of Fairmont, NC; and one niece, Franchassica Olivares and one nephew, Robert Leggett both of Fairmont.

A Celebration of New Life will be held on Friday, January 29, 2010 at 7:00 PM at Redeemed Assembly International Church with Rev. Jim Butler and Rev. Ed Wilcox officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00-7:00 PM prior to the service and a time of fellowship following the service.

Burial will be on Saturday morning, January 30, 2010 at 11:00 AM in Ivey Cemetery in Proctorville, NC.
