Taylor Logan West, 29, passed away in Cumberland County, NC on Thursday, April 25, 2024. She was born in Cumberland County, NC on July 21, 1994 to Richard Dewayne West and Zena Parker Akers.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Christopher Parker; her paternal grandfather, Richard Sandy West; her maternal grandparents, Sherman & Melba Faye Parker; an uncle, Mitchell West; and an aunt, Sheila Rabon.

She is survived by her father, Richard Dewayne West of St. Pauls, NC; her mother and stepfather, Zena & Mark Akers of St. Pauls, NC; her daughters, Aniyah Oxendine of Lumberton, NC and Teegan Rayne Bell of St. Pauls, NC; her paternal grandmother, Judy West; her brother, Devin Keaton West of St. Pauls, NC; her stepsisters, Meghan Akers and Tiffany Ramsey, both of Parkersburg, WV; her uncles, Joseph Parker and Steve West, both of Lumberton, NC; and her aunts, Crystal Parker and Angela West, both of Lumberton, NC.

Taylor will always be remembered as a loving daughter, mother, and friend to others. She was taken from her family too soon.

A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. 809 E. 5th Street, Lumberton, NC 28358.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Floyd Memorial Chapel, 809 E. 5th Street, Lumberton, NC 28358. Pastor Donnie Rabon will be officiating.
