Tammy S. Jacobs, 61, of Lumberton NC, passed away peacefully at home on November 15, 2025.

She was born in Robeson County on May 1, 1964, to the late Mr. Leroy Sampson and the late Mrs. Mary Lois Bell Sampson.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by three brothers, Dennis Ray Sampson, Gregory Sampson, and Donnie Sampson.

She is survived by her husband, Dalton Jacobs Jr. and three children, Dexter Sampson (Kelly Kinlaw), Myra M. Locklear (Joey Locklear), Daltrey Jacobs; seven grandchildren, Hannah Chavis, Kendall Chavis, Kanan Locklear, Kayleigh Locklear and Kenzleigh Locklear, Taleigh Hunt, Takoda Kinlaw. She also leaves behind two sisters, Wanda Locklear (Larry Dean Locklear) and Pocolia Sampson (David Wilkins); two nieces and one nephew and seven great nieces and nephews, and a very special friend, Mrs. Sally Thompson.

A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, from 7:00 – 9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary and Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th St. Lumberton, NC.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Vision of Hope Church, 2144 NC HWY 711 W, Lumberton, NC 28360 with the Revs. Windell Hunt and David Hunt officiating. Burial will follow the service at Lumbee Memorial Gardens, 774 Moss Neck Rd, Lumberton, NC 28360.
