Synthia Carol Locklear Young, age 56, of Lumberton, NC passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. She was born in Robeson County, NC on August 26, 1957 to the late Hoover and Grace Godwin Locklear. She was employed by Home Health. Mrs. Young is survived by a sister, Patty Locklear Monroe and husband, David Earl of St. Pauls. Services will be planned at a later date.
