Sylvia Lee Leggett, age 73, of Apex, NC died on Friday, July 7, 2017 at her residence.  She was born in Worcester, England on May 25, 1944 to the late Thomas and Ivey Maud Lee Ginnelly.  She was a self-employed International Ballroom and Latin dance instructor.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Franklin Leggett; and a brother, Cyril Lee.

Mrs. Leggett is survived by a son, Shaw Leggett of Apex; a daughter, Lee Leggett Nourse of Apex; and grandchildren, Caroline, Jordon, and Cooper Leggett and Dylan Nourse.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Gardens of Faith Cemetery with Rev. Joe Bounds officiating.  A time for visitation will follow the service at the graveside.

In lieu of flowers memorials are encouraged to be made to Transitions Life Care, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607 or a local animal shelter.
