Mrs. Fields married the late Larry Fields on December 5, 1975.  She was a longtime member of Long Branch Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years and also worked as a teacher's assistant with the Public Schools of Robeson County.

She was the mother of three sons: Arren Stone (Diane), Donald Stone (Debbie), and Daniel Fields (Wendy), all of Lumberton, NC. She enjoyed being a grandmother to her four grandchildren: Arren Quincey Stone, Donald Edward Stone, Jr., Mitchell Taylor Stone, and Elizabeth Grace Fields, and a great-grandmother to Erin Stone. She was the loving sister of the late Larry Sealey, Wayne Sealey, and Iris Dell Carter. She cherished her brother-in-law, Robert Fields (Jennifer) and her only surviving sister, Violet Lewis (Bobby), all of Lumberton, NC.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at 2:00PM at Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton, NC with Rev. Brett Young officiating.  The family will receive friends briefly following the service at the graveside.
