Sylvia Jean Ammons, age 73, of Fairmont, NC, passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2021, following a short illness. She was born in Mullins, SC on September 25, 1947.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Murphy Coleman Ammons and Wilma Sealey Ammons.

She is survived by two sisters, JoAnn Strickland (Robert) of Lumberton, NC and Jackie Graham of Proctorville, NC; and two brothers, Jerry Ammons (Kim) and Jimmy Ammons (Terri), both of Fairmont, NC.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Barnesville Baptist Church in Orrum, NC.
