Susan Kristine Pedersen Lawson, age 55, of Fairmont, died Monday, January 7, 2019, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. She was born on March 1, 1963, in Hartford CT, a daughter of Roy Pedersen and the late Edna Seals Reynolds.  Mrs. Lawson worked as a secretary of Southeastern Regional Medical Center.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband Carl Lawson of the home; two sons, Brad Lawson and wife Lynn of Lumberton and Brandon Lawson of Lumberton; her stepfather, I.W. Reynolds of Fairmont; three brothers: Jimmy Pedersen of Fairmont and Eric Pedersen and Kevin Pedersen, both of CT; three sisters: Gerline Gibson of Lumberton, Shirley Reynolds of Fairmont, and Betty Jean Kinlaw of Lumberton; a sister-in-law, Rose Herring of Lumberton; and four grandchildren: Logan Floyd, Tyler Lawson, Brady Lawson, and Alyssa Bensley.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2019, at 2:00 PM at Life Line Church of God with Rev. Roger Jacobs officiating. Burial will follow at Floyd Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at Floyd Mortuary and Crematory in Lumberton.
