Sue Neil Britt Taylor of Lumberton, NC died in Dillon, SC on Tuesday, July 13, 2010. She was born in Robeson County, NC on July 19, 1924 to John and Hessie Connor Britt. She was a homemaker and a loyal member of Antioch Baptist Church for seventy years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Douglas Taylor; a son, Joseph Thomas Taylor who is survived by his wife Pat; and a daughter, Glenda S. Britt who is survived by her husband Morris.

Mrs. Taylor is survived by three daughters, Melba Britt and husband James W. of Lumberton, NC, Nancy Fields and her husband, Eugene of Lumberton, NC and Janet Willis and husband Bobby of St. Pauls, NC; and her siblings, Ailene Johnson of Bladenboro, NC, Eunice Barr of Lumberton, NC, J.C. Britt of Bladenboro, NC, Margaret Deaver and Myrtle Parker of Boardman, NC, Linda Francis, Lacy Britt and Carl Wayne Britt of Winston-Salem, NC; seventeen grandchildren, thirty-five great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday evening, July 16, 2010 at 7:00 PM at Antioch Baptist Church in Lumberton with Rev. Mark Meadows officiating. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 5:30-6:45 PM at the church. Burial will be on Saturday morning, July 17, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Taylor Family Cemetery on Beulah Church Road in Lumberton.
