Sue "Suzy-Q" Neal Hyatt, 67, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Monday November 10, 2025 at UNC Health in Lumberton, NC.

In her spare time, she loved to knit and crochet. She also loved to go to church and read her bible.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mack Hyatt and Omera Davis.; a brother, Joseph Hyatt; and a brother in law, Jeff Ford.

She is survived by her daughters, Belinda Hyatt (Jesse Musselwhite) and Sandra Thurtle (Timothy), all of Lumberton; two sisters, Barbara Jean Ford of Augusta, Ga. and Rebecca Britt (James Buddy) of Lumberton; and grandchildren, Kalisa, Janessa, Shiheim, August, Carah, James and Chris.

A memorial will be Saturday, November 15 2025 at 2 p.m. at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton, Pastor Kelly Barr officiating.
