Mrs. Marilyn Sue Britt, 78, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2022, at her home. She was born in Robeson County, NC on March 17, 1944, to the late Lonnie Nealy and the late Pearl Meares Nealy. She enjoyed spending time with her family and doing yard work.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Mort Britt; three brothers: Earl Nealy, Ronald Nealy, and Kelly Nealy; and a sister, Jewel Reeves.

She is survived by her son, Bryan Britt of Lumberton, NC; her daughter, Tammy Cox of Lumberton, NC; four grandchildren: Lonnie, Madolyn, Helaina, and Heather; and a great-grandchild, Hadley.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Saturday, June 18, 2022, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5 ^th Street in Lumberton, NC.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 20, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Floyd Memorial Chapel with Rev. James Graham officiating. Burial will follow at Broad Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery, 949 N. Broadridge Road in Orrum, NC.
