Stevie Strickland's Obituary
Ricky Stephen "Stevie" Strickland, age 55, of Fairmont, passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2018, at home. He was born on June 22, 1963 in Robeson County to the late R.C. Strickland and Barbara Smith. He was self-employed as a painter.
He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his mother, Barbara, who lives in Fairmont; his wife Lisa Baxley Strickland of the home; his daughters: Heather Strickland Cox and husband Jason of Fairmont and Sommer Strickland Broadaway and husband Nathan of Orrum; three grandchildren: Morgan, Bentley, and Brody; one brother, Timmy Strickland of Evergreen; and two sisters: Emily Bullock of Fairmont and Tami Russ of Clayton.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 27, 2018, from 6:00-8:00 PM Floyd Funeral Services, Inc. in Fairmont.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to National Kidney Foundation Serving the Carolinas, 933 Louise Avenue, Suite 101-B, Charlotte, NC 28204.
