Steven "Steve" Dewayne Sealey, age 61, of Tar Heel, NC, passed away Monday, November 3, 2025, at home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne Sealey and Nancy Long.

Steve will always be remembered as an extremely hard worker. He enjoyed fishing with his son and grandson. In the last years of his life, his faith was the most important thing. He also loved his dogs.

He is survived by his wife, Melinda Sealey of the home; a son, Aaron Sealey (Mariya) of White Oak, NC; a brother, Tony Sealey (Angie) of Lumberton, NC; two sisters, Angel West (Dewayne) of Lumberton and Sharon Myers (Mafford) of Dunn, NC; and two grandchildren, Asce Sealey and Skylin Sealey; and several nieces and nephews.

The visitation will take place prior to the service on Friday, November 7, 2025, from 1 to 2 p.m.  at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, and a memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor George Connor officiating.
