Mr. Steve Howell, age 62, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC. He was born in Robeson County, NC on June 14, 1958 to the late Lloyd Furman Howell, Sr. and the late Alberta Smith Howell. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a delivery driver for UPS. He was also the owner-operator of Alberta Farms in Lumberton, NC.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers: Stacy Howell, Weldon Howell, and Kinnie Howell, and a sister, Bobbi Jean Howell.

He is survived by his wife, Nichell Fulmore Howell of the home; three sons: Stephen Howell (Heather) and Terrell O. Howell, both of Lumberton, NC, and Justin Steve Howell of the home; three grandchildren: Alexis Howell, Destiny Howell, and Stephen T. Howell; one great-granddaughter, Aaliyah Davis; three brothers: Bobby Neal Howell (Shirley), Glen Russell Howell (Vanessa), and Furman Howell, all of Lumberton, NC; and a sister, Myra Graham of Lumberton, NC.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Blanks Family Cemetery in Lumberton, NC.
