Mr. Steve Britt, age 69, of Proctorville, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at his home, surrounded by his family.  He was born in Robeson County, NC on March 30, 1953 to the late Evander Britt, Jr. and the late Fairah Stone Britt.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Elbert Ray Britt.

Steve is survived by his wife of forty years, Nancy Britt; his son, Steven "Kyle" Britt of Orrum; two brothers, Robert L. Britt of North Myrtle Beach, SC and Gerald S. Britt (Kathryn) of Raleigh; one sister, Monica McDonald (Michael) of Aberdeen and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.

A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 from 2:00-3:00PM at Proctorville Baptist Church, 206 Main Street, Proctorville, NC.

A funeral service will follow the visitation on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at 3:00PM at Proctorville Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Johnson officiating.  Burial will follow at Proctorville Cemetery, 16860 NC Hwy 130, Orrum.
