Mr. Stephen Foster Hardin, Sr., age 81, of Lumberton, NC passed away on Friday, February 26, 2021, at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton, NC.  He was born on January 12, 1940 in Robeson County to the late Forrest Hardin and Bertha Bledsoe Hardin.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Phyllis Prevatte Hardin; one brother, William Glenn (Billy) Hardin; and one sister, Kathryn Hardin Edwards.

He is survived by five children; Gail Dudney (Eddie), Stephen F. Hardin, Jr. (Becky), Jenny L. Hardin, Anthony Hardin (Dawn), and Waylon Hardin (Kimberly), all of Lumberton, NC; one brother, Forrest Hardin of Hope Mills, NC; one sister, Mary Ann Robinson of Fayetteville, NC; eight grandchildren, Melissa Hall (Wade), Amanda Baxley (Keith), Rebecca Kordes (Jon), Brooke Clabaugh (Micah), Kayleigh Hardin, A.J. Hardin, Sarah Hardin, and Sadie Hardin; eight great-grandchildren; and special friends, Richard Evans, L.M. Evans, and Stonie Brewer, all of Lumberton, NC.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at 2:00PM at Floyd Memory Gardens, 3720 Old Whiteville Road in Lumberton, NC, with Rev. Aaron Corcelius and Rev. Brent Chavis officiating.
