Star Jayne Metzger, age 75, of Lumberton, passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton. She was born in Kansas City, MO on May 13, 1938 to the late Leonard Jayne and the late Lila Latty Jayne. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Leonard Jayne and her sister, Roselle Sarrett. She is survived by her sons, Don Metzger II and wife, Maureen of Lumberton, NC and Michael Metzger of Houston, TX; her daughter, Kristina Ratley and husband, Warren of Little River, SC; five grandchildren, Lauren Metzger, Molly Metzger, Conor Metzger, April Ratley and Summer Ratley. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 24, 2013 at 3:00PM at GlenFlora Nursing Home with Rev. David Canady officiating.
