Spencer McKee, age 94, of Lumberton, NC died on Monday, February 12, 2018 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.  He was born in Bladen County, NC on October 24, 1923 to the late Daniel Patrick McKee and the late Falsey Blackwell McKee.  He was an engineer for the CSX Railroad and a member of the St. Albans Masonic Lodge for sixty years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Maude Nye McKee; three brothers, one sister, and one grandchild.

Mr. McKee is survived by three sons, Robert Spencer McKee, Jimmy Neal McKee (Anne) of Lumberton and  Tony Patrick McKee (Amanda); a daughter, Sharon McKee Hudler (Ted); ten grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Meadowbrook Cemetery with Rev. David Hawes officiating.  The visitation will follow the service at the graveside.
