Mrs. Shirley Rose Parker Richards, age 79, of Lumberton, NC, passed away at home on Friday, June 18, 2021, from Alzheimer's Disease. She was born in Robeson County, NC on July 11, 1941 to the late Alma Barnes Parker Caulder and the late Fay Parker.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her 5 brothers: A.M. Parker, Edward Parker, Sherman Parker, Fay "Tuby" Parker, Jr., and Donald Ray Parker; and her 2 sisters, Bernice Parker Floyd and Annasteen "Tommy" Parker Caulder.

Shirley is survived by her husband of almost 60 years, Harry Edward Richards; a daughter, Renee Richards Wright (Robby Boswell) of Fayetteville, NC; one grandchild, Casey Renee Wright (Andrea) of Kannapolis, NC; 2 great-granddogs, Buddy and Bear; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Sunday, June 20, 2021, from 1:00-2:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5 ^th Street in Lumberton, NC. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the chapel.

Burial will follow at New Hollywood Cemetery in Lumberton, NC.

The family will also receive family and friends at other times at 4812 Alamac Road in Lumberton, NC.
