Ms. Shirley Faye Hardin Miller, 73, of Lumberton, NC, departed this life on Friday, March 31, 2023.  She passed peacefully in the Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton.  She was born in Robeson County, NC on September 16, 1949 to the late Gus & Lillie Mae Speights Hardin.

As a homemaker, she loved cooking meals for her family. In her free time, she enjoyed playing Bingo, bowling with her bowling league, and playing cards and gambling for fun.  She will be missed by many, but her memory will live on through the memories she left behind with her loves ones.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Stanley Rudolph Hardin, Sr. and William Henry Hardin and her sisters: Carrie Mae Tilley, Pauline Hardin, and Bertha Mae Hardin.  She is also preceded in death by a niece, Joanne McMillan; a great-niece, Heather Tilley and a great-great niece, Kimberly Smith.

She is survived by her daughter, Carrie Jo Revels of Lumberton, NC; her brothers, Frank Hardin of New Bern, NC and James Hardin and Wayne Hardin, both of Lumberton, NC; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members, including a special nephew, Joseph Diaz.

The family will receive friends and loved ones prior to the service on Monday, April 3, 2023, from 1:00-2:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5 ^th Street in Lumberton, NC. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held in the chapel at 2:00 PM with Rev. Tim Holden officiating. Burial will follow at New Hollywood Cemetery in Lumberton, NC.
