Shirley Jean Wilcox Lee, 82, of Lumberton, NC, transitioned from her earthly home to her Heavenly home on Thursday, October 7, 2021, surrounded by her family.  She was born in Robeson County, NC on June 28, 1939 to the late James Wilcox and the late Hermie Smith Wilcox.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles, James and Glenn Wilcox, and one sister, Lois Jackson.

She leaves to cherish her memories with her daughter, Paula Kaye Lee Price of the home and granddog, Zoey; her granddaughter, Lauren Parker of Lumberton, NC; great-granddaughter, Lani Grace Townsend of Lumberton, NC; a special sister-in-law, Peggy Wilcox of St. Pauls, NC; her daughter's step-mother, Linda Lee of Lumberton, NC; special niece, Irene Allen (Terry) of Trenton, NC; four sisters: Barbara Allen (Larry) and Betty Pittman, all of Lumberton, NC, Patricia Clark of Raeford, NC, and Margaret Freeman of Hope Mills, NC; and three brothers: Curtis Wilcox (Bertha), Donnie Wilcox (Nancy) and Bobby Wilcox, all of St. Pauls, NC; along with a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.

A time of walk-through visitation with family will held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 from 7:00-9:00PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5 ^th Street, Lumberton.  (Limited amount of people will be allowed in the building at one time.)

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at 3:00PM at Long Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Broadwell officiating.  Burial will follow at New Hollywood Cemetery in Lumberton.
