Mrs. Shirley Pait Johnson, age 83, of Lumberton, NC, passed away Sunday, May 26, 2019, at her home. She was born on October 8, 1935, in Robeson County to the late Jack Pait and the late Clara Biggs Pait. She was a teacher for the Public Schools of Robeson County for 28 years. She was also a member of First Baptist Church in Lumberton for over 50 years.

Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Walter "Noody" Johnson.

She is survived by her children, Rick Lovette of Lumberton, NC and Wanda Beilenson of Philadelphia, PA; six grandchildren; and two brothers, Ron Pait of Lumberton, NC and Andy Pait of Lake Tillery, NC.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 31, 2019, at 5:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel, 809 E. 5 ^th Street in Lumberton, with Rev. Joe Bounds officiating. The family will visit with friends following the service.
