Ms. Shirley Floyd Jenkins, age 83, of Fairmont passed away Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Pinehurst Health & Rehab in Pinehurst, NC.

A Graveside service will be held Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 12:00PM at Floyd Memorial Cemetery.

Family will receive friends Thursday prior to the service from 11:00AM until 12:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.

Ms. Jenkins was born March 12, 1935 in Robeson County, NC to the late Robert Oscar Floyd, Sr. and Sadie Mae Lewis Floyd.

She worked many years for UCB prior to her retiring and was a lifelong member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Fairmont.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Jenkins; brothers, Thomas, Henry, Lowell, Robert Oscar, Jr., and Gerald Floyd; sisters, Ellen Rose Floyd McGirt and Willie Floyd Vaughn.

She is survived by one son, Ken Jenkins; three daughters, Jennifer Jenkins Britt, Julia Jenkins Edwards and Cindy Jenkins Beard; fifteen grandchildren, Morgan Jenkins, Meredith Jenkins, Daniel Britt, Tyler Britt, Rebecca Krug, Rachael Beard, Richard Beard, Ruth Beard, Robert Beard, Ridge Beard, Reece Beard, Riley Beard, Reagun Beard, Emily Lloyd and Ethan Edwards; one great grandchild, Ada Lloyd.
