Sherry Ann Ross Hammonds, age 55, of Fairmont, NC passed away on Monday, June 19, 2023 at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC.

Sherry was born August 29, 1967 in Leesburg, Fla. to the late Johnny Ross and the late Charlotte Daniels.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Ross; two sisters, Sandy Hall and Tonya Hammonds

She is survived by her husband, Donnie Hammonds of the home; two daughter, Faith Hammonds and Hope Hammonds both of Fairmont, NC; two brothers, Gregory Hammonds (Gwen) of Fairmont, NC and Jeffery Hammonds (Tracy) of Spring Lake, NC; four grandchildren, Hazel, Tienna, Dacota and Haylee; a special niece, Taylor Hunt of Fairmont, NC; two great-grandchildren, Everleigh Rose and Halle Mae Simons; several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

A service will be held at a later date.
