Mrs. Shelby Jean Faulk, age 86, of Orrum, NC, passed away Friday, August 18, 2023, at her home. She was born in Robeson County, NC on October 7, 1936, to the late Hilbert & Katie Connor Britt.

Shelby will be remembered for her curious mind. She enjoyed shopping for clothes, gardening, and canning vegetables from her garden. She absolutely loved her dog, Lulu.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Roy Williamson; her late husband, Frank Faulk; her son, Darryl Wayne Britt; her brothers: Hollis Britt, Dan Britt, and Hilton Kenneth Britt; and her sister, Carolyn Ann Bach.

She is survived by her son, Roy Lee Williamson, Jr. of Orrum, NC; her daughters, Esther Williamson and husband Leon of Evergreen, NC and Marilyn Guillaumier and husband Rich of Sydney, Australia; 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; her brothers, Buddy Britt of Orrum, NC and Roger Lee Britt of Pembroke, NC; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive friends and loved ones prior to the service on Sunday, August 20, 2023, from 2:00-3:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel, 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM with Rev. Tony Ward officiating. Burial will follow at New Hollywood Cemetery in Lumberton, NC.
