Sheila Lynn Moore McKissack, age 61, of Lumberton, NC, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton. She was born in Memphis, TN on March 15, 1952. She graduated from Messick High School and later retired from Bellsouth Telephone Company of Memphis, TN. In 2002, she moved to Lumberton to be with her parents. She loved cross-stitching, crocheting and reading. She was preceded in death by her father, Burnice Earl Moore. She is survived by her mother, Wilma Payne Moore of Lumberton; two sisters, Sharon Holland and husband, Jerry of Memphis, TN and Susan Connor and husband, James of Lumberton, NC; a nephew, Christopher Connor and girlfriend, Traci Johnson and two special friends, Tammy Hunt and Michelle Lowery. A time of visitation will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2013 from 2:00-3:00PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street, Lumberton. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 3:00PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton with Rev. Johnny Bruce officiating. Burial will follow at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton.
