Sheila Lowery, age 58 of Lumberton, N.C. passed away on Friday, September 30, 2022. She was born in Robeson County, NC on April 5, 1964 to the late Glenn Barnes and Elizabeth Lowery Barnes.

She was preceded in death by her father, Glenn Barnes; her brother, Jimmy Lynn Lowery; and a sister, Peggy Barnes.

Ms. Lowery is survived by her mother, Elizabeth Lowery Barnes; her children: Vanessa Danford (Johnny) of Laurinburg, NC, Mack Lowery (Renee) of Fairmont, NC, Kevin Lowery (Carol), and Brandon Lowery (Nikki), all of Lumberton, NC, and Kimberly Walters of Wilmington, NC; her grandchildren: Gabriel Lowery, Jordan Danford, Gracie Danford, and Jasmine Lowery; her great-grandson, Colton Lowery; her brothers, Terry Barnes and Curtis Barnes (Renea); her sisters: Linda Stephens (Willie), Heather Barnes (Della), Kelly Callahan (David), Melissa Simmons (Kelly), and Alice Williamson (Eric); and several nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends and loved ones prior to the service on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, from 1:00-2:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM in Floyd Memorial Chapel with Bishop Kenny Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow the funeral service in Floyd Memory Gardens.
