Sequoyah Matthew Hunt's Obituary
Sequoyah Matthew Hunt, age 43, of Pembroke, NC died on Friday, March 16, 2018, in Emporia, VA. He was born in Robeson County, NC on March 18, 1974 to the late Willie Hunt and Jeanette Hunt Jacobs.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Hunt, and a brother, Terry Willie Hunt.
Mr. Hunt is survived by his mother and step-father, Jeanette Hunt Jacobs and William F. Jacobs of Rocky Point, NC; his wife, Luciana Hammonds Hunt of the home; sons: Sequoyah Matthew Hunt of Leland and Dylan Hammonds of the home; a daughter, Autumn Hart of Minneapolis, MN; brothers: Dale Sarby Hunt of Walther, NC and Shawn Lee Hunt of FL; a sister, Cindy Kay Hunt of Minneola, FL; and one grandchild, Ava Hart of Minneapolis, MN.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, from 2:00-3:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. in Lumberton.
Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm in the Chapel with the Revs. Mike Jacobs, Terry Oxendine, and Ron Barnes officiating.
Burial will follow at Eddie Lee Hammonds Family Cemetery, 2535 Shannon Road in Lumberton.
