Sarah Elizabeth Walters Lindsay (91) passed away at Alifia Village Assisted Living Center in Brandon, Florida on Monday, May 23 , 2016.  She was born 12 September, 1924 in Affordsville, North Carolina and resided in Roberson County until 1996 and in the Tampa area the past twenty (20) years.

Elizabeth is preceded in death by her Father, Henry Walters, her Mother Lizzie Howell, her Husband Mitchell Lindsay, her Son Julius Neal Lindsay, her Brother Dewitt Walters, and her Sister Elenor Lindsay.

Elizabeth is survived by her Seven (07) children Barbara (Harold) Boully, Wayne Lindsay (Barbara Carolus), Clara Yaroughboro, Sandra (Brice) Horne, Charlie (Anna) Lindsay, Jane Malone, James (Vera) Lindsay, Daughter-in-law  Nelma Lindsay, sixteen (16) Grand Children, numerous Great Grand , and Great, Great, Grand Children.

The Family of Sarah Elizabeth Walters Lindsay wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the Hospice teams of Hillsborough County,  Florida for her precious care during these emotional times.

Visitations will be on Sunday 29 May 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 East 5th Street in Lumberton with Graveside Services held at Floyd Cemetery in Fairmont at 11:00AM on Monday 30 May 2016.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Military Veterans Administration of your choice.
