Sarah Lee Johnson, age 89, of Lumberton passed away on Friday, January 31, 2025, at the Carrolton of Lumberton. Sarah was born in Robeson County on April 30, 1935 to the late Chancel Ray Johnson and Rebon Lewis Johnson.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings: Gary Johnson, Elbert Johnson, Juanita Sanderson, Wilnora Johnson, Roy Johnson, Merrilwood Johnson, J. P. Johnson, Geraldine Morrow, Louise Rogers, Margrove Johnson, Sadie Rae Johnson Thompson, Crofton Johnson, and Sam Johnson.

Sarah loved her Lord and her church, The Pentecostals of Lumberton, and church family. She loved her family enjoyed spending time with them. She was an avid gardener.

Sarah is survived by her brother, Horace Johnson and wife Faye of Lumberton, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held prior to the service on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Floyd Mortuary and Crematory, 809 E. 5th Street, Lumberton, NC.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memorial Chapel, 809 E. 5th Street, Lumberton, NC. Burial will follow the service at Meadowbrook Cemetery, 400 E. 24th Street, Lumberton, NC. Pastor LeDon Barnhill and Rev. David Carroll will officiate the service.
