Mrs. Sarah Dowless Callahan, 74, of Lumberton, NC passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2023. She was born in Robeson County on September 23, 1949 to the late J.D. Dowless and the late Ima Smith Dowless.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Vickie Branch.

She is survived by her husband, Franklin H. Callahan of the home, her son, Franklin Scott Callahan; her daughters, Frankie Callahan Williamson (Ken), and Ladoska Britt; her sister, Peggy Taylor (Jackie Taylor); five grandchildren, Lauren Ashley Head (Jeffrey), Isaac Williamson, Andrew Williamson (Ashley), Zachary Britt, and Kaylan Britt; and three great-grandchildren, Sarah Grace Head, Jeffery Luke Head, and Beckett Drew Williamson.

A time of visitation will be held at Floyd Mortuary and Crematory, Inc., at 809 E 5th St, Lumberton, NC, on Monday, December 4, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

A graveside service will be held at Gardens of Faith at 5190 N. Fayetteville Rd, Lumberton, NC, on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 11:00 AM.
