Sarah Keister Caldwell, of Metairie, LA, passed away on June 2, 2013. Born March 3, 1949 in Lumberton, Sarah was the daughter of Seimeon Foster Caldwell, Jr. and Rosa Lee Clark Caldwell. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents and her sister, Alice Caldwell. Sarah had a great love for the outdoors. She took pleasure in gardening, horseback riding, fishing, and camping. She also enjoyed reading and keeping touch with friends and family through her beautifully written cards and notes. Sarah cherished her relationship with God, Metairie Baptist Church, and her devoted Sunday School friends. Sarah is survived by her son, Scott Bateman, of Athens, GA; her sisters, Mary Clark Caldwell, of Atlanta, GA, and Ruth Caldwell, of Charlotte; and nephew, Richard Taylor, also of Charlotte.
