Mr. Sanford Oxendine, age 75, of Fairmont, NC passed away Saturday, November 2, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Sanford was born July 23, 1949 in Robeson County to the late John Oxendine and the late Mattie Hunt Oxendine.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Cecil Hunt, Billy, Samuel, and John Frank Oxendine; two sisters, Esther Oxendine and Evelean Locklear.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Mary Oxendine of the home; two daughters, Sheryl Oxendine of the home and Tracy Marie Oxendine (Brian) of Fairmont NC; one son, Steven Joseph Oxendine (Melody) of Fairmont, NC; one brother, Robert Oxendine (Barbara Ann) of Lumberton; three sisters, Evelyn Bilic (Peter) of New Rochelle, NY, Flora Lewis (Randy) of Rowland, NC and Bernice Locklear (James) of Raynham, NC; two grandchildren, Joseph and Skyla Oxendine and a host of other relatives and friends.

A time of visitation will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2024 from 1:00-2:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services, Inc., 1549 Marion Stage Road, Fairmont, NC. A funeral service will immediately follow in the chapel at 2:00 PM.

Burial will follow in Dogwood Baptist Church Cemetery, 1417 Iona Church Road, Rowland, NC.
