Mr. Sandy Herring, age 84, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2015, at Southeastern Health in Lumberton. He was born in Robeson County on October 12, 1930 to the late Alvie and Lucille Herring. He is survived by one sister, Martha Jean Nance of Boardman, NC; and his other family, Sherry and Ricky Britt and their son, Garrick Britt. A time of visitation will take place on Sunday, May 10, 2015, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc. A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 11, 2015, at 2:00 PM at Boardman Holiness Church Cemetery with Rev. John Spence officiating.
