Sandy Archie Bullard, Sr, 95, of Linkhaw Place, 1170 Linkhaw Road, Lumberton, NC died on May 26, 2009 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton, NC. He was born July 1, 1913 to Nathan Bullard and Katherine Britt in Robeson County, NC.

He was preceded in death by Helen Branch Bullard, his wife of sixty eight year and one son H.S. Bullard.

Mr. Bullard is survived by two sons, Billy Bruce and wife Hattie of Tarboro, NC and Sandy Archie Bullard, Jr. and wife Susan of Red Springs, NC; three daughters, Shelby Bodiford and husband Hubert of Southport, NC, Janice Bryan and husband Don also of Southport and Carolyn Strickland and husband Jimmy of Lumberton, NC; nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, five step grandchildren, nine step great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and two great-great step grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 28, 2009 at 2:00 PM at West Lumberton Baptist Church with the Reverends Glenn Grant and Kelly Bullard officiating. Burial will follow the services at Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton, NC.

The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, May 27, 2009 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton.
