Sandra Jane Hunt, age 69, of Fairmont, NC passed away Sunday, August 20, 2023, at Bladen East Health & Rehab in Elizabethtown, NC. Ms. Hunt was born March 17, 1954 in Robeson County to the late Cleo Hunt and the late Varener Hunt.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Gary Hunt and two sisters, Patsy Hunt Grimsley and Paulette Hunt; two nephews, Christopher Hunt and Timmy Locklear.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her longtime companion and friend, Ronald Scott of Fairmont, NC; one son, Ronald Dale Hunt, Jr. (Crystal Nobles) of Lumberton, NC; two daughters, Donnie Jackson (David) of Fairmont, NC and Cansondra Hunt of Lumberton, NC; three sisters, Ruby Hunt of Pembroke, NC, Gracie Hunt of Fairmont, NC, and Barbara Sampson of Lumberton, NC; nineteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

A time of visitation will be held Saturday, August 26, 2023, from 1:00PM-2:00PM at Floyd Funeral Services 1549 Marion Stage Road in Fairmont, NC. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00PM in the chapel with Rev. Brett Chavis and Emery Brooks officiating. Burial will follow in New Point Baptist Church Cemetery.
