Mrs. Sallie Caulder Hathway, age 83, of Lumberton, passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at her home.  She was born in Robeson County, NC on December 5, 1936 to the late Proctor Caulder and the late Ruth Smith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Billy Caulder; and three sisters, Viola Stephens, Kathy Shell, and Grace Davis.

Mrs. Hathway is survived by her husband, Alton Hathway of the home; one son, Dale Hathway and wife Teresa of Lumberton; three brothers, Clarence Caulder of Fairmont, Wilton Caulder of Orrum, and Henry Caulder of Darlington, SC; one sister, Alice Atkinson of Orrum; a sister-in-law, Ruby Caulder of Fairmont; two grandchildren, Crystal Delozier and husband Clift of Fort Mill, SC, and Donavon Hathway of Lumberton; and four great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at 2:00PM at Floyd Memory Gardens in Lumberton with Rev. Dale Hathway officiating.
