Ruth Smith Oxendine's Obituary
Ruth Smith Oxendine, 63, of 187 McKinnon Rollin Road, Lumberton, NC died April 30, 2009 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center. She was born to Harvey & Mamie Smith on June 22, 1945 in Robeson County, NC.
Mrs. Oxendine is predeceased by her husband Earl Zack Oxendine.
She is survived by a daughter, Carle Oxendine Hammonds of Lumberton, NC; a brother, Harvey Smith, Jr. of Pembrooke, NC; a sister Margaret Smith Lewis of Lumberton, NC; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Floyd Memory Garden with Rev. Chris Jones officiating.
Visitation will be held Saturday, May 2, 2009 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton, NC.
