Mrs. Ruth S. Meyers-Gordon, 91, of 120 Southwood Drive in Clinton, NC died on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Mary Gran Nursing Center in Clinton.

Mrs. Gordon is survived by one daughter, Patsy Hairr of Clinton; two sons, Jon Savage of Alamogordo, NM and Jerry Savage of Madison, WI; twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind one sister, Helen Cannady of Clinton; and two brothers, Leland Allen of Garner and Ethan Allen of Burlington.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 23, 2011 at 6:00 PM at
Epworth Methodist Church in Clinton, NC. The family will receive friends at the home of Helen Cannady, 876 Ozzie Road in Clinton, NC following the service.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 24, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Floyd Memorial Chapel in Lumberton. Burial will follow in New Hollywood Cemetery in Lumberton.

Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 AM prior to the service at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory, Inc., 809 E. 5th Street in Lumberton.
