Ms. Ruth Lupo Callahan, age 90 of Fairmont passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 12:00 Noon at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel in Fairmont with Dr.David E. Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in Floyd Memorial Cemetery in Fairmont. Visitation will be Saturday, December 13, 2014 from 11:00am-12:00 Noon one hour prior to the service at Floyd Funeral Services. She was born June 24, 1924 in Dillon, SC to the late Clyde and Alice Cook Lupo. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Caudell Price Callahan. She is survived by four sons, Stuart, Blaine, Michael and Dwight Callahan; one daughter, Audrey Richardson; two brothers, Wade Lupo of Fairmont and Russell Lupo of Richmond, VA.; one sister, Pauline Cribb of Wilmington; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
